iMacs and iPods at an Apple store in Santa Monica in the U.S. state of California uniformly display a stark black and white image of Steve Jobs in tribute.
The company's co-founder has died at the age of 56 after a long battle against pancreatic cancer.
Outside the store mourning Apple fans started placing their own tributes in the form of flowers, notes and candles.
There were similar scenes outside Jobs' home in Palo Alto, California.
Some left flowers outside the house as a mark of respect for the man who gave the world the iPod and the iPhone.
