At least 13 people were killed Tuesday after gunmen opened fire on a bus in southwestern Pakistan in an apparent sectarian incident.
Police say a bus with mostly Shi'ite passengers was attacked when a pickup truck intercepted the bus and gunmen and began shooting.
Ten people died on the spot... Three others died in hospital.
The injured were transported to a nearby facility to receive treatment.
After the bus was emptied, victims' family members set the bus on fire in protest.
Although no one has claimed responsibility for the attack, Sunni Muslim militants loyal to al Qaeda and the Taliban regularly target members of Pakistan's Shi'ite minority and have stepped up attacks in recent months.
