Research reveals risk of Travellers' Diarrhoea (TD) is as high as 40% for visitors to certain countries(1), yet a few simple steps before travelling can prevent a 'Dream Holiday' from becoming a 'Nightmare'

The medical consequences of TD are far from trivial: Research shows that a small percentage of TD sufferers go on to develop post-infectious Irritable Bowel Syndrome. However, this is a topic of ongoing debate.

In this video, Dr Jane Wilson- Howarth explains the preventative measures we can take before travelling and while we are away, discusses the symptoms of TD and talks about the measures that we need to take if we experience TD while we are overseas.
