http://www.FTV.com/videos NEW YORK - The fact that Adam Lippes' offices look out towards the High Line is inspiration for the top designer who says that it's his "runway in the sky." He also told FashionTV that he wants to appeal to the Adam woman. It's good that she knows who she is! Both those ideas were themes for the Adam Spring/Summer 2012 show at New York Fashion Week, which showcased floral prints, neon and pop art colors, and polka-dots. A black and white polka-dot pencil skirt was especially appealing. While the sheer white shirts in the beginning were a bit of over-kill on the menswear-inspired trend, we did love the way they subtly played up an outfit. The red and black military jackets added that tough chic effect to an otherwise sweet ensemble, the mesh was another noted Spring/Summer 2012 trend, and the dresses like one neon-pink halter mini frock were made for partying in New York City, LA, or South Beach.
