http://www.FTV.com/videso NEW YORK - When one heads to a Custo Barcelona show, they always know they're in for a real technicolor treat! Custo's runways are like non-stop multihued parties. He invented pop art before it was a trend at New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012. So we knew that when we scored an invite to the Custo Barcelona show that there would be lots and lots and LOTS of color. We weren't disappointed.
Custo Dalmau, head designer of Custo Barcelona, and his team presented 80 looks for men and women at NYFW. The title for his collection is called Tripola and the theme behind his line is the idea of the graphic element (which developed into a 3-D technique, when you buy a Custo piece in the future, you'll get UV glasses with your selection for the full effect), duality or clothes that can be worn by men and women, and kaleidoscope, which appeared in the middle of the show and is sewing and working in micro-geometrical pieces and patchwork to achieve that graphic element.
