Congress President Sonia Gandhi addressed a public meeting in Vaanasi. It was Congress who freed India from the British. It was Congress who brought a resolution in the Country said Sonia Gandhi. She was on an election campaign. She sought support for Congress in the coming elections. Sonia Gandhi also listed out achievements of the Congress led UPA Government at the centre viz NREGA, loan waivers, mid-day meal scheme etc.
