http://www.FTV.com/videos LONDON - Alistair Carr is the new designer for Pringle of Scotland, but people had high hopes for him because Pringle itself is such an old and iconic brand for Britain. Yet, he has never done anything with knitwear and Pringle is known for its knits. While we were wondering whether this collection would completely fall apart, Carr completely held his own using pieces that he pulled from Pringle's archives and revamped like cardigans with beading and argyle patterns with crystals. Carr seemed to add a new dimension to pieces, working in architectural details, layering dresses, and adding a few prints, while keeping up the British flair that Pringle has always had to offer. So did this collection work in his favor? Only you can decide.
