How to Make Parchment Paper Circle? - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. We are going to talk about making your own parchment paper circles. So parchment paper comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, and if you are fortunate enough you can purchase them in sizes that go from 8 inches all the way to 12 inches round. If you do not have circles, if you have a roll or if you have the full sheet that professionals use, you can also make your own parchment paper circles. So what you want to do is to start by taking your parchment paper and folding it in book style. Then you are going to make another fold away from you. And then from there you are going to take the sides that have the fold, so this side has the fold and the side closest to me had the fold and you are going to take those folds and you are going to marry them together - put them right on top of each other. And you are going to do that again until you get a very small triangle. And sometimes you can even go a little bit further if you are so inclined. So it looks almost like you are going to make a paper airplane, but we are not. So now I am going to take my pan, I am going to flip it over it to reverse. I am going to start at the center of that. I am going to mark it with my fingers and then I am going to trim it. Now depending on how you trim it, you may get it perfectly round. You may get it exactly the same size, but if you do not it is okay. And then you are going to unfold it, it might have a little scalloped edge to it. And I should be able to drop it directly in and have one that fits exactly, because I have prepared my pan with my pan grease, that I do not really have to worry that it does not meet all the way edge-to-edge. But it is a wonderful way to be able to get parchment paper circles without having to purchase them in advance.
