In Indiana, they are referred to as either “Special” or “General Damages.” “Special Damages” are normally quantifiable and can include financial injuries or other pecuniary loss to include past and future medical bills, the cost of a new bicycle or repairs and the income you lost from time off work and may continue to lose into the future.
