STORY: Two U.S. men convicted of spying in Iran landed in Oman following their release earlier on Wednesday.
Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal were arrested in mid-2009 along Iran's border with Iraq where they said they were hiking. They were found guilty of illegal entry and espionage and sentenced last month to eight years in prison but were freed on a $1 million bail paid by the U.S.-allied Gulf state of Oman.
The two men could be seen as they left the plane and entered the terminal building. A Reuters reporter was among a group of journalists and officials awaiting the arrival of the plane.
