Sonia Gandhi is chairing a party meeting at her 10 Janpath home to discuss the UP elections. This is the Congress president's first public appearance after she returned to Delhi a few days ago from the US, where she underwent surgery. Mrs Gandhi's colleagues in the Congress have not been able to meet her since she arrived in Delhi early morning on September 8, accompanied by her daughter, Priyanka.
