Designer Betsey Johnson added her personal touch to her Spring 2012 collection on Tuesday (September 12) at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, drawing some sexy seams up the back of her model's legs.
It was all part of Johnson's 1940s peep show, which channeled Brigitte Bardot and aimed to bring back clothes that accentuate the curves of a woman - with an edge, of course.
SOUNDBITE Betsy Johnson saying (English):
"There's a million trends and a million looks from my rock n' roll shit to the beautiful stuff, so my trend was about, or what I wanted to show was like, how you can have fun with dressing."
From flirtatious white fabrics with silver hardware embellishments to edgy cuts and ferocious fabrics, the get-ups create for a sweet look that might not be that innocent.
The 69-year-old designer rounded out the collection with studs and sparkles for Spring.
Fashion Week in New York will conclude on September 15.
