Like the recently-released Hunted: The Demon's Forge, The Cursed Crusade is a cooperative action game that still allows you to play it all by yourself, should you so choose. That is to say that if you don't have a second player to join you either locally or online, the AI will play as that character for you, assisting you in combat and helping you solve puzzles and work around obstacles as needed. The two characters -- Denz and Esteban -- are set along a path to find Denz's missing father, who is said to be able to help you lift a curse. It's this curse that adds additional gameplay features to The Cursed Crusade, as well as supernatural and fantasy elements that compliment this conflict-ridden setting well.
