"There are some small ligaments in the wrist that, if they tear, can lead to arthritis in the wrist, as well as causing pain after the injury; those can be taken care of with the arthroscope. Arthritis: you can buy someone some time with arthroscopic surgery for wrist arthritis. So, that's something that's relatively unique to my practice. There are only a couple of us in the area that do wrist arthroscopy. But it's something that I've found to be very successful and very helpful for people."
