The number of casualties in the Zanzibar ferry capsize disaster stood at almost 200 on Sunday.
More bodies were found as local fishing boats joined security forces in the search.
The total number of dead is expected to rise as more bodies are found in the wreckage.
The ferry was licensed to carry 600 passengers.
By Saturday evening police said at least 192 bodies had been recovered and more than 600 survivors.
The MV Spice Islander was so overloaded as it left Zanzibar's port that it began to list straight away.
Its Tanzania's worst maritime disaster in 15 years.
The ferry's journey began in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania's commercial capital, before taking on more passengers in Zanzibar.
It went down en route to its final destination, Pemba island.
