In a call for an end to solitary confinement in New York's prisons and expressing solidarity with California's Pelican Bay prisoners .This was part of a nationwide day of protests scheduled to coincide with legislative hearing on conditions and policies of the Security Housing Units (Solitary Confinement) at Pelican Bay.
Present were the NYS Prisoner Justice Network, Rights for Imprisoned People with Psychiatric Disabilities, VOCAL and many more who held rally outside Governor Cuomo's Office in New York City
