There is a new type of shoulder replacement. This is a new design of an implant, and it's used for people who have severe arthritis in their shoulder. It's made especially for people who have bone loss, and it can't be made up for with the typical implants that we have.

One company has developed a new implant, and it's on limited release. I'm one of the trial surgeons to use this implant, and it has helped me tremendously in taking care of patients that have very complex anatomy that I could not reconstruct previously with the implants that were available. And I think this helps a lot with taking care of patients with the complex anatomy of the shoulder.
