Four weeks after the Wenzhou bullet train crash killed 40 passengers, Chinese authorities finally begin inspections of all its bullet train lines. As the inspection started Monday, a dramatic turn of events... the boss of the company, blamed for the crash, collapsed and died of a heart attack.

The Chinese regime started inspections of all its much-publicized bullet train lines. That's nearly five weeks after the Wenzhou train crash killed 40 passengers on July 23rd.

The Associated Press reported inspections of 49 projects and over 3,700 miles of high-speed train lines will continue until mid-September, according to officials.

On Tuesday, State Administration of Work Safety spokesman Huang Yi said the agency would present a report of the crash in mid-September.

Huang pointed out signaling systems and safety management had flaws. The Associated Press quoted him saying, "This was an accident that was both avoidable and preventable."

Faulty design of the signal system has been blamed for the collision. The software failed to switch a signal at Wenzhou South Railway Station to red after a train had stalled on the viaduct—causing the second train to crash into the stationary one.

On Monday, the 55-year-old boss of the rail company blamed for the safety flaw collapsed in his office when an inspection team arrived.

Chairman of the China National Railway Signal & Communication Corporation, Ma Cheng, had a heart attack and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Ma had no previous history of heart problems.

The company was targeted by public criticism when it was found out that the company's faulty software had caused the July 23rd deadly crash.
