Two US hikers have been sentenced to eight years in prison for illegally entering Iran and spying, according to state television there. They were arrested with an American woman in July 2009. The trio, in their late 20s and early 30s, were later allowed a visit from their mothers. Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer denied the charges.
