The cooked Bottle Gourd is cooling, calming, diuretic and easy to digest Ingredients- 1 cup chana dal 200 gm lauki {bottle gourd} 1 onion 1 tomato 1 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1 green chilli 1 tsp garam masala 1/2 inch ginger chopped 2 tsp coriander powder Few coriander leaves 1 cup water 2 tbsp oil Salt to taste Preparation- Heat the oil. Add the cumin seeds, onions, tomatoes and mix well. Add ginger, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and mix well. Add the dal, green chilli , salt, water. Add lauki and cook for sometime. Serve hot and garnish with coriander leaves.
