For someone so young, Anita had witnessed more than her share of manipulation and psychological pain. She began drinking, spending time with boys, smoking marijuana, dropping acid and taking over-the-counter drugs, trying to lose herself in the high. But nothing filled the void. Abused and lost, Anita struggled against drug addiction and all odds while trying to achieve her dream of finishing school and raising her two sons.
