North Korea's key nuclear negotiator, Kim Kye-gwan arrived in Beijing on Wednesday following talks in the United States.

Kim met his Chinese counterpart, Wu Dawei. He's likely to have consulted Wu about the US talks—over restarting the stalled six-way denuclearization talks, and hoping to seek the Chinese regime's support.

North Korea had abandoned the six-way talks three years ago, saying it was useless as long as the US remains hostile towards Pyongyang.

The six-way talk involves North and South Korea, the United States, China, Japan, and Russia.
