Valentina Naforniţă (born 1987) is a Bucharest based Moldovan soprano opera singer. She is presently best known as the 2011 winner of the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition.
Valentina Naforniţă was born in Glodeni, Moldova. She graduated from the Ștefan Neaga Music College in Chişinău, Moldova in 2006 and is currently in the Master of Arts programme under Eleonora Enăchescu at the Voice Department of the National University of Music in Bucharest. She performs with the Romanian National Opera.
