"This is the real Wild Dog of India - they hunt in packs and can bring down a large deer! The Dhole (Cuon alpinus) is a species of canid native to Southeast Asia. The dhole is highly social animal, living in large clans which occasionally split up into small packs to hunt. Dhole is found in Assam, Bengal, Gujrat, Kashmir, Tamil nadu, and North western parts of India. Dhole usually prefers dense forests, thick shrub forests and mountain regions to live.
