Here we have from Laos, in South-East Asia, the Serpent Loach, relatively newcomer to the aquarium scene. Really unique fish. The fact that it is a non-aggressive small loach, only occurs about 2 inches or so.
It tends to be out a lot, not a hider like most loaches. The fact that it sits on its ventral fins and perches like it is going to take off like an airplane. Very social fish with other fish as well as its own kind. Likes to be in a group.
