Twenty-one workers were trapped underground when water flooded an iron ore mine in China's eastern Shandong Province Sunday night.
Water flooded a pit of Zhengdong Mining Co. in Fangzi District of Weifang City at around 11 o'clock Sunday night when 28 people were working.
Seven people managed to escape.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
