"Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary of Bharatpur in Rajasthan is 175 km from Jaipur & 185 km from Delhi. Bharatpur National Park is famous for its large variety of birds in all over the world. Total area of the sanctuary is 29 sq km. Though the sanctuary is open throughout the year for tourists, yet the best time to visit it is between the period of October to February. This is the winter season when the climate is at its best. Also, the fact that the migratory birds flock to the park during this season makes this period even more attractive. For those desirous of seeing the resident birds, August to November is the best time. The jungle cat (Felis chaus) is a medium-sized cat and considered the largest remaining species of the wild cat genus Felis. Jungle cats are larger than domestic cats, range from 55 to 94 centimetres in length, Weight varies across the range from 3 to 12 kilograms. Males are slightly larger than females. The face is relatively slender, with large rounded ears. The life span of the jungle cat is about 14 years.
