Cemil Cicek has been elected the new speaker of the Turkish parliament. A senior member of the ruling AK Party, he won the third round of voting with support from 322 deputies in the 550 seat parliament. He has previously been Justice Minister and Deputy Prime Minister. http://www.euronews.net/
