In commemoration of the 12th year since the Dhyanalinga Yogic Temple was consecrated and offered to the world, the temple was decorated in full grandeur for the occasion.

The day (24th June 2011) opened with the resounding chants of “Aum Namah Shivaya” filling the dome. A tribute to the Aadhi Yogi or first yogi, the Mahamantra chanting was followed by a wide variety of cultural and religious chants throughout the day.

These included chants from Sikh, Islamic, Christian and Hindu singers who had come especially for the occasion. Buddhist, Sufi and Christian chants were also sung by Isha Yoga Center residents, who took part in the celebration.

The evening Nadha Aradhana or offering of sound was given by Padma Shree Pandit Vikku Vinayakram, the Grammy award winning percussionist and ghatam maestro.

The evening closed with the Guru Pooja, an offering to all the great masters, regardless of religion or tradition.
