Congratulations to Dr. Moji Navvab and The University of Michigan, Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning & 3D - Virtual Reality Laboratory for placing in the 2010 Ocean Optics Video and Photo Contest. This video shows how the Ocean Optics Jaz Spectrometer measures spectral characteristics of the surfaces within the Virtual Reality environment. The Jaz spectrometer, SpectraSuite Software and other specialized instruments allow University of Michigan professors and students to measure the dynamics of the light and sound as experienced by the user.
