The See Yourself Camera is the latest item in Fisher-Price's Kid-Tough line of durable kids' electronics that are built to survive the kind of play that preschoolers engage in—including all kinds of drops. With this kid-friendly digital camera, kids can take digital pictures as well as videos with sound. The camera features a 180-degree swiveling lens so kids can easily take pictures and video of themselves, the sky, or directly in front of them. The camera also features child-friendly controls. There is no reading required. The buttons are big, making it easy for small hands to operate.
After taking pictures, kids can add special effects and stampers, then upload the pictures to a computer using a USB cable so they can edit, print, or email their work. Downloadable photo editing software (for PC only) lets kids add more effects and create books and cards.
The See Yourself Camera has a 1.8-inch color screen, a wrist strap, 4x digital zoom, an SD card slot, and low-light performance, so there is no need for a flash. The camera stores 1,300 digital images, but you can expand memory by adding an SD card, which is sold separately. The camera comes in a black, blue, and green style or a purple and pink style.
