To come up with your wedding seating chart you want to make sure to sit friends with other friends. There is nothing worse that being at a wedding and not knowing anybody at your table and not having anything to talk about. With that being said, feel free to mix friends from the bride side and the groom side together as they can get to know each other and make some mingle of it.
To come up with the actual seating chart it's easiest if you print out a floor plan of your venue with all the table locations and put everybody's name on a piece of paper and that way you can easily play around the combinations and come up with what works best.
