Wal-Mart announced on Monday (May 30) the names of two men who will lead its operations in China.
Former Wal-Mart CFO in Puerto Rico, Mario-Jose Medina will be in charge of the financial operations, and former senior vice-president Del Sloneker will be the new chief operating officer.
Medina and Sloneker were quickly selected to fill the positions, after the sudden resignations of former CFO Roland Lawrence, and former COO Rob Cissell. Lawrence and Cissell said they each decided to leave China to (quote) “explore other opportunities.”
