Weddings: Choosing Recessional Music - as part of the Wedding series by GeoBeats.
As far as choosing music for the ceremony, it is one of those things, unless you are a classical music buff or just music buff in general, sometimes it is a little bit hard. This is a good place to go whether you are getting married in a church or, you know, a synagogue. Just speak to the actual officiant for some recommendations. I think that is a good place to start.
Just because a lot of people are not really sure of what music will go well as far as the pre-sessional and the recessional goes. Then you can also always use modern music, and sort of put a classical twist on it to be able to use it as a, you know, as either pre-sessional or recessional music.
I just had a couple who used "all you need is love" by the Beetles as there recessional song, and it worked perfectly and it was great. And, you know, we also used a lot of classical music throughout the ceremony which was beautiful.
So again I think, you know, songs that you can relate to and if you wanted to be classical and you are not quiet sure, just ask the officiant, you know, ask whenever you are getting married.
