SFSA Chair Channels Whitney: The Children Are Our Future
San Francisco School Alliance - Mark Hopkins Hotel
This year, the 56,000 children in San Francisco’s public schools need your help more than ever. The underfunding of their education continues, while the city’s economy is demanding new skills in a new century. We must join forces to help our educators and our children come through these challenging times stronger and smarter, so our students will be able to build a better future for all of us.
At this luncheon, the San Francisco School Alliance will convene the business, philanthropic, education and civic leaders of San Francisco to address the critical issues facing the city, and the key role that college- and career-ready students must play in the city's future economic success. Superintendent Carlos Garcia will once again present San Francisco Unified School District’s Annual Report to the community, clearly outlining the district’s progress and goals for improvement.
The San Francisco School Alliance hopes you will invest in the strategic partnership between the SFSA and the San Francisco Unified School District to create long-lasting solutions for students, and a new pathway to prosperity for the city.
