Dr. Goings uses "self-ligating" brackets which eliminate the need for elastic ties. With this system, treatment time is shorter; there are fewer appointments and overall greater comfort with extraordinary results. Most cases are treated without extractions and expanders are only used in cases with severe cross bite.
