The world's premier classical Chinese dance company, Shen Yun Performing Arts, is currently performing in Vienna, Austria. As our correspondents report, the performance made a lasting impression on the city's art community.
More than 100 well known VIPs from Vienna saw Shen Yun Performing Arts premiere at Vienna's Wiener Stadthalle over the weekend.
Among them, Dr. Schäfer-Elmayer, the owner of the renowned Elmayer Dance School which choreographs the Vienna Opera Ball every year.

"These wonderful, expressive choreographies on one side, and then danced by really enchanting people, they can move themselves, as you can see it quite, quite rarely."
The president of the Ballet Club of the Vienna State Opera was impressed by the interaction between the digital backdrops and the dancers.

"Really, the dancers are flying from heaven, coming down on the stage. Well, it is professional, elaborate, and of course highly professionally danced."
[Christa Dukor Mayrhofer, Patron, Friends of Vienna State Opera]:
"I have expected a beautiful evening, but this is magnificent, which I'd have never expect. May I say why I'm this enthusiastic. The ladies' manner of movements with those little steps, I thought they were standing on a band-conveyor, like the way they moved. Then the absolute choreography, this is wonderful. It's not like a brunette, a blonde, a red, a green with their hair, but all the same cute heads. And it's like there is harmony in the movements, just adorable. And the for example when it comes to the backdrop, this wonderful backdrop, the landscape, is just stunning, so big. Due to such bliss, my eyes couldn't believe it."
