How to Do Yoga Wheel Pose - part of the women's fitness video series by GeoBeats. Hi, I'm Colleen and this is Brenna. We're here today at Bend Yoga Studio and we're going to show you a really wonderful variation of Urdhva Dhanurasana. Brenna is lying on her back and she'll extend her arms down to her sides so that her heels just graze her fingertips. Once she's ready she'll place her hands up over her head, palms flat on the floor, and her fingertips facing her hips with her pointer fingers parallel to one another. As Brenna breaths in she'll ground down into her feet and lift her hips up to the sky. On her next breath in she'll lift up onto the crown of her head pressing down into her palms. Good. The head of her arm bone draws back into the back plain of the body as her collar bones broaden wide opening the heart. On her next exhale Brenna's going to press actively down into her feet and endure her palms to lift her hips up to the sky. Once she feels steady in her shins and in her forearms, Brenna's going to press actively down into her right palm and come up off the right palm, dropping it down onto her pelvis. Good. And that you're keeping this everything broad across the collar bone and pressing down into both feet. Once she's ready she'll extend the left palm back to the floor. Take a breath into all 4 limbs. As she exhales she'll lower her crown of her head and her hips down to the floor. Gently rolling her spine down to the ground vertebrae by vertebrae.
