And finally we come to Israel, where students from around the world create the perfect safe. The challenge then - to break into each other's safes. Our correspondents brings us the story.

No, they're not training to be bank robbers...once a year at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, students gather for an unusual competition. To crack the perfect safe.

The institute invites high school students from Israel and abroad to break into various types of "safes" designed by the students themselves.

The aim of the project is to demonstrate a fun and practical application of the study of physics.

[Omer Strashnov, Israeli High School Student]:
"There was an extremely beautiful safe, brought by a group from abroad. They used a stream flowing from a punched water cup that incorporates an optical fiber, and the laser hits there. So the light can reach the sensor underneath.".

[Arie Melamed Katz, Israeli Group Coordinator]:
"Schools from Israel are participating here. From the beginning of the year we had 100 subscribers, but not everyone lasted. Those who arrived here, the fifty groups who arrived here, are truly the leading team of physics students in Israel, who succeeded in building a safe that meets the requirements, and can compete against other teams. Besides the groups from Israel we got the groups from abroad. We got 10 groups visiting from all over the world..."

Hopefully the challenges experienced this year will inspire next year's group of students.
