New Brentford manager Nicky Forster has instilled a more creative and forward mentality in Brentford's game since he took over two months ago and the fans were optimistic ahead of the game against Carlisle who they had beaten in League One only a week before. Carlisle were looking to bounce back from the 4-1 defeat in the final to Southampton last year and finally get their hands on the trophy.
