At one time they were the best-selling urban artists in the UK, with songs like “Dry your eyes mate” and “fit but you know it” and the album “A grand don’t come for free” being hailed as one of the best in British Urban history. However, Skinner has never really managed to reach the heights of that album and due to the changing scenery in the British Urban scene his music seems like it connects less with the public as it once did. Due to this and other side projects (Skinner is slowly becoming an actor) “Computers and Blues”, will be the last album to come from the Streets. With this being the last album, it also means it is the last tour and with this in mind Winkball reporters were talking to The Streets fans about what life will be like without the lyrical maestro that is Mike Skinner.
