http://www.winkball.com/walls/SVhzK2NSfmOc/fa-cup-manchester-city-v-reading Winkball citizen video reporters were at Eastlands on Sunday 13th March for the FA Cup quarter-fnal between Manchester City and Reading. City were looking ahead to Wembley, particularly after the semi-final draw was made before kick-off, throwing up a London date with arch rivals Manchester United. Ending a 35-year trophy drought would surely be all the more sweet if it meant beating the Red Devils on the way. Reading were clear underdogs, despite the Championship side already claiming the Premiership scalps of West Brom and Everton in the competition this season, and having reached the quarter-finals last year, were looking to go at least one better this time around. The hosts pried and probed for an opening but were denied by resolute defending and great goalkeeping until Micah Richards powered home a corner ten minutes from time. The solitary goal was enough to send City to Wembley, and their fans were going bananas, quite literally! Winkball reporters were there to speak to the home and away fans about the cup tie and the dream of lifting the cup. Full interviews available via the link above. Distributed by Tubemogul.
