Paradise beaches, friendly people, ancient temples: Myanmar offers a unique slice of unspoilt Asia to tourists. Yet for decades many visitors have stayed away because of the country's military dictatorship. Now things are changing. Opposition leaders have lifted a boycott on independent travellers despite last year's controversial election.
