A car bomb blast in central Pakistan killed at least 17 and wounded dozens more. This is the latest in a series of bomb attacks Pakistan has seen for the last three years - since the military started an offensive on Taliban insurgents.
A car bomb exploded at a natural gas filling station in the Pakistani city of Faisalabad on Tuesday.
The blast set off gas cylinders at the station, severely damaging nearby buildings and numerous vehicles.
Officials say 17 people were killed and more than 100 wounded.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the government is battling various militant factions including Pakistani Taliban, which have ties to al Qaida.
Pakistan has seen a wave of bombs in the past three years, many in the northwest near the border with Afghanistan, where the military is battling Taliban insurgents.
The army says that several military offensives over the past two years have weakened the militants, but bomb attacks are still common.
