My Chemical Romance were crowned this year's biggest winners at the NME Awards. The band picked up two high profile awards for Best International Band and Best Video.

Over three and a half million NME readers voted for the awards, which also saw Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters nab the gong for 'Godlike Genius.'

Muse beat Arctic Monkeys, Foals, Kasabian and Biffy Clyro to land the prestigious Best British Band Award and Brit favourite Laura Marling took the gong for Best Solo Artist.

Amongst the awards which weren't presented on the night were Least Stylish and Worst Album which both went to Justin Bieber.

Meanwhile at the event, Dave Grohl performed a marathon set, refusing to leave the stage at his allotted time and jumped onto a table in the audience to perform My Hero.
