Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak had meetings with vice president Omar Suleiman and Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq at the presidential palace on Thursday, as thousands more protesters entered a packed Tahrir Square in expectation of an announcement of his resignation, according to state TV.
