Jennifer Aniston has denied stories that she has "signed and sealed" adoption papers for a baby from Mexico.
It come after US magazine Star claimed the 41-year-old actress began adoption proceedings a year ago and had even had a nursey installed in her home, ready for the arrival of her new son or daughter.
However, Jennifer's spokesperson has been quick to deny the report.
"It is completely false - it is all a work of fiction," her people say.
They added: "Jennifer is not adopting a baby from Mexico, nor does she have a nursery in her home and she has not hired a nanny."
The Friends star has spoken in the past about her desire to become a mum one day.
In 2008, Jennifer told Entertainment Weekly: "I feel that's in my future and I'm on the verge of it in some way... or it's something I long for."
