Grand Prix Highlights- Germany

2011-01-26 50

The first F1 Grand Prix took place here in 1970, when the circuit was quite different to today's Hockenheimring. In 2002, the circuit was dramatically shortened, with the long forest section chopped off in favour of more tight corners. But that was the past.

Today Hockenheim is a modern circuit with a grandstand capacity for way over 200,000 fans, which the drivers love for its fantastic atmosphere. AT&T Williams driver Nico Hülkenberg and F1 expert Christian Danner explain the challenges of the German track. (http://www.f1grandprix.it)
