It is a case of 'the show must go on' for Victoria Cross hero Johnson Beharry, as he gets ready to skate on this weekend's Dancing On Ice despite almost slicing his finger off.
"For what I've been through this is just a scratch," Lance Corporal Beharry said.
"Unfortunately I had five days off the ice and now I'm trying to make up for it."
The soldier, who was awarded the Victoria Cross for his bravery in Iraq, is currently wearing a bandage and is unable to do complex routines for the next month. He has also been banned from lifting his professional partner, Jodeyne Higgins.
Meanwile in the training camp, Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe is also nursing an injury after damaging a rib during training.
The competition starts properly this weekend with judges able to save their favourite acts for the first time.
