RAISED MONEY FOR BOY'S & GIRL'S CLUB...!!! Eric's motorsports background has had a significant impact on the Pacific Northwest's fishing scene as he has developed a NASCAR like affinity for gathering sponsors and giving them exposure on his boat, tow vehicle and most importantly, during his many media appearances and events. One such event, the extremely popular and well attended Sturgeon Derby, featured over 300 fishing teams and occupied an entire building of Portland's expansive Expo Center. While some would use their sponsorship and fund raising talents to line their own pockets, Eric built his Sturgeon Derby around the concept of raising money for the Boy's & Girls Club of the Greater Portland area.
